2301 2nd Ave. to Increase in Height by 4.5 Stories
An application has been made to demolish an existing 1.5-story building and erect a mixed-use 6-story building in it’s place on the corner of 2nd and Bell. This is currently low-income housing for homeless women and new plans are being made as of means to upgrade it’s current operation. The only obstruction of views that may be affected would be eastern city views from the 1st Ave. side of the Pomeroy and possibly southern city views from the Battery St. side of Belltown Court. The building will also house 2,506 ground-level retail space which has yet to be determined.
