Located in Seattle’s hip, urban Capitol Hill neighborhood, the Braeburn is one of the largest condominium projects built in the community. Interestingly, Braeburn takes its name from the Red Apple grocery store that once occupied its site. Built in 2005 by Capitol Hill Developments, the buildings feature studios, live/work spaces, lofts and one and two-bedroom units. The 153 residences range from 340 sq. ft. to almost 1,100 sq. ft. Also, total of 8,800 sq. ft. of commercial space occupy street-level commercial space. Overall, the units offer an open floor, and standard interior finishes consist of hardwood kitchen floor, tiled bathroom, carpeted bedroom and living room, and stainless steel appliances. Some units include a private balcony or Juliet balcony, and walk-in closet. To encourage social interaction and a sense of community for the residents, Braeburn offers impressive amenities including fitness center, yoga studio, library and lounge with gourmet kitchen, 14-seat theatre, billiards and game room, business center, art studio, sky terrace, Zen garden, dog walk area, city-view rooftop decks with BBQ, p-patch garden, and guest suite.
