When the Concord was completed in 1999, it was the first major residential building in Belltown featuring state-of-the-art wiring infrastructure. It was the first in the Pacific Northwest to provide dedicated fiber optic links designed to support ultra hi-speed internet access. Developed by T. Jones Inc. and HAL Real Estate Investments, the 13-story concrete and steel twin-tower was the epitome of 21st century living, showcasing its sleek modern design. Boasting multimedia wall outlets, an advanced electronic security system, and a fully equipped business center, the building was designed by Driscoll Architects, and constructed by PCL Construction. The in-suite designs and features, as well as the stylish marble entry lobby were designed by Marcia Johnson. Homes at the Concord feature 8 ½ ft. ceilings, oversized windows, gas stove, stainless steel appliances, slab granite countertops, fireplace, A/C, and private deck. Overlooking the Olympic Sculpture Park and Elliott Bay, the Concord provides some of the best water and mountain views in town.
