Proposed Condominium Tower on 2nd Avenue & Stewart Gets a New Look
Lack of new condo construction in Downtown Seattle seems to be a thing of the past. We have blogged extensively about NEXUS, the 382-unit, 41 story condominium tower set to break ground later this month. While about 80% of NEXUS units have been reserved, plenty of homes remain. Please contact us if you’d like to find out more about the project.
One of the newest condominium towers coming to the greater Seattle area is The Emerald, developed by the Chinese firm Create World. The Emerald will be located at 1613 2nd Avenue, on the southwest corner of the 2nd Avenue and Stewart Street intersection. The site is currently home to Café D’Arte.
The most recent plans for the project, per the Daily Journal of Commerce, call for 266 residential units, underground parking spaces and over 4,00 square feet or commercial space. Unlike some of newly constructed apartment and condominium buildings, such as NEXUS, The Emerald will feature no studios; instead the units will range from one to three bedrooms. According to the Daily Journal of Commerce, there will also be a rooftop common area along with a deck on one of the lower floors, as well as a gym and other amenities. Hewitt Architects is the company in charge of the design and renderings of The Emerald can be seen here.
We will keep you updated on the construction progress.Email
