Construction on New Bellevue Condominiums to Start in the Fall
Bellevue skyline is going to be even more impressive! The construction of the first two of the four towers planned by Plus Investment USA will break ground in the fall, according to an article in the Puget Sound Business Journal. We have blogged about this project in the past.
The project, called Elev8, will be the largest high-rise in Bellevue. Located downtown, the site is bordered by NE 8th Street to the north, NE 6th Street to the south, 110th Avenue NE to the east and 108th Avenue NE to the west. The location is fantastic, near everything the neighborhood has to offer. Shops at Bravern are located just east of the project and Lincoln Square is a mere couple of blocks away, ensuring the residents of Elev8 can run errands without using their cars. For nature lovers, the Downtown Park is three blocks away.
The size of the project is impressive, even by Seattle standards: when completed the three residential towers will rise 450 feet above the ground and the lower office building will be an impressive 300 feet tall, per the article. The first phase includes two towers, one housing condominiums and the other apartments. The condominium tower will feature 351 units over 40 floors. The apartment tower will be slightly taller, at 41 stories and will feature 448 units for rent. In addition to residential dwellings, almost 90,000 square feet of retail is planned, along with nearly 1,500 parking spaces. MZA Architects is the company for the design of the project and PCL Construction is to be the general contractor. According to the article, construction will commence in August or September, when the first building permits are ready to pull.
As Seattle real estate agents and condominium experts, we are very excited about this project. We will continue to keep you updated on Elev8!Email
