Encore at Columbia Station Breaks Ground
One of Seattle’s newest (and most exciting!) projects, Encore at Columbia Station Condominiums, has officially broken ground, per a statement released jointly by Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty and BDR Urban.
This 96-unit building will be located at 4689 Martin Luther King Jr Way South, in the bustling neighborhood that is Columbia City. We have blogged about this exciting project in the past. As construction commences, the interest in the available units has definitely grown. Encore will offer a wide variety of floor plans, from studios (cozy at 344 square feet) to urban 1-bedrooms, standard one-bedroom homes and larger units, some featuring 966 square feet and two bedrooms. A wide variety of floor plans also means a wide variety of prices – from the low $300s to more than $700,000 for the largest units.
One of the biggest selling points is – of course – the location. The project is sited immediately next to the Columbia City Station, offering its residents easy access to the city core via the Link Light Rail. It is worth noting that this public transportation system is currently undergoing expansion – it will soon be a network of 116 miles. Aside from location, the building will offer great amenities – from concierge services and a co-working space, to a fitness center and a club room with an exhibition kitchen. It is worth noting that underground parking will be available to be purchased separately – starting at $30,000.
Unit specific reservations are being accepted, per the press release, but the quantities are limited. Prospective buyers are able to reserve their future homes with a fully-refundable deposit of just $2,500. These reservations will become purchase and sale agreements as soon as the Sales Center opens in the fall.
With low interest rates and limited inventory, it might be time to look at new construction opportunities. We are well-versed in all upcoming projects & we would love to talk. Please contact us at 206.910.5000 or at email@example.comEmail
