One88’s Preview Event Open to the Public

One88 is Nat Bosa’s second (after the hugely successful Insignia) foray into the Puget Sound region. The opulent, 21-story building, expected to be completed in 2019, is being developed and built by Bosa Development, with Amanat Architect in charge of the design. One88 is the first residential tower under construction in Bellevue in ten years – and it is sure to wow. Hossein Amanat, of Amanat Architects, was said to be inspired by quartz crystal abundant in the Pacific Northwest when designing the structure, resulting in One88’s unusual shape. The tower will comprise of 134 residences, ranging in size from one- to three-bedroom homes. Hirsh Bedner Associates will oversee the interiors, with two color palettes available to prospective buyers. The inside of each home will undoubtedly impress. The design options include: wide hardwood flooring, oversize windows, balconies and large walk-in closets in the master bedrooms. Certain units will also feature technological upgrades such as USB ports, energy-efficient lighting, Nest thermostats and home automation systems that will allow for control of lighting, sound and even window treatments. The residences will feature Caesarstone countertops as well as soft-close drawers and cabinets.  Kitchens are bound to be the focal point of each home, with Gaggenau appliances, Thermador wine refrigerators and custom designed veneer cabinetry. Onside storage, communal car charging stations and assigned parking will also be available.

An excess of 25,000 square feet of amenities will await the future residents of One88. The luxurious lobby will feature concierge service with package delivery and an adjacent lounge with a fireplace and weekend coffee service. The wellness will be equally impressive, from a well-equipped fitness center with towel service to a yoga studio. The indoor pool area will feature plenty of light with high ceilings and even skylights. The saline pool will be complement by a sauna as well as a steam room. There will be a multitude of residential areas in One88. In addition to the lobby lounge, there will be a resident lounge with seating and a television for taking in sporting events. This space will open to the private dining room, with its food preparation station, Gaggeneau appliances and a large table perfect for dinner parties. The building will also feature two terraces, each with a distinct personality. The third-floor terrace will be perfect for outdoor entertaining, with grills, a fireplace and communal tables. There will also be a grass area for outdoor yoga. The fifth-floor terrace will be a more serene space, perfect for taking in those Downtown Bellevue views. A children’s playroom, golf simulator studio, a pet retreat and bicycle storage stations will complete the roster of amenities. The building will also feature ground-level retail.

One88

One88 will be conveniently located on the southeast corner of NE 2nd Street and Bellevue Way, just across the street from Downtown Park. Shopping is conveniently nearby, with Bellevue Square a walking distance away and The Shops at Bravern nearby. The Eastside is booming, with Amazon’s Bellevue Office Expansion, Microsoft headquarters and Downtown Seattle just a short commute away – One88 is destined to be one of the most popular high-rises in the region.
