April 2017 Edition – Florentine

The Florentine was built in 1909, and was converted from a warehouse to condominiums in 1991. The 6-story historic building is located on the south edge of Pioneer Square, just north of the Seahawk Stadium and Safeco Field. To the west is the waterfront.  Whether you want to catch a game, ride the ferry, enjoy dining or the art walk every month, there is always something going on in the neighborhood. Overall, the units in the Florentine are larger than your typical condos downtown, and they consist of one and two-bedrooms, two-story lofts with vaulted ceilings, and penthouse homes.  As is common with many open floor plans and lofts, the bedroom area is separated from the living room and kitchen with partial walls. If you enjoy the vibe of a historic building in a city setting, and do not mind the lack of amenities such as a gym or rooftop deck, then The Florentine might be a perfect fit for you.  Access to freeway and public transportation is just minutes away.
